Comparing Telephoto Lens
Hey people!
I heard that some of you want to learn more about the difference between the 70-200mm and 55-250mm lens. In this post, i shall share with you the photos taken using both the lens. Of course, I will let you be the judge. Surprisingly, it is easy to identify which photo suffers a poorer image quality. Read on to know more!
55-250mm
The 55-250mm lens serves to be a good walk-around lens. Just weighing at 390g, it provides the accessibly that all photographers wish for. Unfortunately, as we come closer to the verdict, you will realise how the image quality actually suffers. But be rest assured that what you get from the 70-200mm(which will be shown after this), is what you are really paying for.

CLICK THE PICTURES FOR 100% VIEW. Notice as you zoom to max focal length at 250mm, the aperture stops down to f5.6. That’s half the amount of light coming through the lens as compared f-stop at f/4!! To compensate that, I will have to increase the ISO to 800 for a steadier shot. One thing to happy about is that it has the IS capability, which allows me to shoot at 1/50sec without a question. However, to ensure fairness, test shots are taken on a tripod.
