Silence is Gold. This, captured in an industry, reveals another form of communication by the workers. My 1st impression told me as if any idiotic thoughts could now be written freely, where the scribblers can have their identity kept confidential. Seriously, those meanings carried by the Chinese characters show it all. All sounds random too
The most common thing: my 1st instinct’s wrong again. The most uncommon thing: These Chinese characters were actually the evidence of them spending some time reminiscing the place where they previously belonged. Forgot to mention at the start, and i guess you’ve already guess it right, they are Chinese workers. Language requires frequent exposures to prevent them from being numb. Words written down by them were all linked to their past; It was somehow the past that they gained inspirations in their writings. Is this their best way to express their feelings to the society? To gain more acceptance from the outside world?
Silence is gold. So now the only best thing they could do, is to write neatly.
